International Animation Day

Today we are celebrating International Animation Day!

October 28th is designated as International Animation Day to commemorate the first public performance of Emile Reynaud’s Theatre Optique at the Grevin Museum in Paris in 1892. You can view a video of the story here. This international event started in 2002 and is celebrated in more than 50 countries worldwide and can include more than 100 events.

If you would like to learn more about the principles of animation, please check out our blog post where we review in detail each principle.

So how are you celebrating? Feel free to share this short animation we created just for the occasion on your social media or webpage to celebrate with us!
